BlowFly Cricket has one centre that caters for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years seeing all-abilities coaches from the unique and highly acclaimed ‘Uncoachables Coaching The Uncoachables” program. Two other centres operate during the Summer Season while the Winter Season sees an indoor centre which all three centres catering for children and adults with the oldest player in his fifties. These centres host fun filled cricket sessions that are modified so every individual gets a fair go. The centres are completely run by our wonderful volunteers and members who fulfil such roles as coaches, mentors, and friends. BlowFly Cricket empowers and encourages our members to take on key voluntary roles including coaching, Centre Coordinators, Management Committee positions, cooking BBQs and many other important roles.

 

Our volunteers provide a variety of functions including administration, cooking, transport, coaching and engaging with members. Outside of our cricket centres, our volunteers run various fundraising initiatives including raffle tickets sales and collecting recyclable cans and bottles as part of our Return and Earn campaign.
